Residency Notes
The Warren Forest Garden Black Isles Permaculture
Late autumn 0f 2024 I was fortunate to spend time at a creative residency in the Black Isles of Scotland. I stayed in Julie's & Clive's beautifully made cabin in their forest garden. Their inspirational permaculture garden provided me with fresh herbs, greens and salads and each day I ventured out to find fungi. The goal of this residency was to reflect on fungal life, queer ecology and work on new workshop ideas for the coming year. I got to spend my time exploring fungi through different mediums: writing, painting, photography and video. Here you can enjoy a small insight into the days spent at the warren forest garden.

A beautiful opportunity but not without its challenges [for full transparency I was struggling with mental health & chronic pain]
